New Life Under Lockdown
Being under lockdown during spring has given me the opportunity to observe, enjoy and photograph all the new life emerging – fledglings, badger cubs, red squirrel kittens and pine marten kits.

Nine weeks into lockdown and although craving human company it’s been a joy to spend May watching and photographing the local wildlife.
Making the most of the lockdown in my Highland home and feeling incredibly lucky to live where I do surrounded by fields and woods full of wildlife.
Another stormy month in the Scottish Highlands, but I made the most of it with trips to the mountain hares and some lovely red squirrels in the snow.

Little did I know when I booked a day at the Nature Nuts wildlife hide that not only would I see a pine marten at lunchtime, but I’d also be the first to see one of this year’s adorable kits.
